Objects are in the wrong place when I point the phone

Almost always the compass, not the astronomy. iPhone magnetometers drift badly near cars, speakers, magnetic cases and steel structures. Two things to try:

Why do the planets and stars look so large?

Deliberately. At their true angular size, Jupiter and the stars are a couple of pixels across and impossible to aim at on a phone held at arm's length. Positions are accurate; the symbols drawn at those positions are enlarged so you can find them.

I can see far fewer stars than another app shows

Check the sky-darkness (Bortle) setting. Sidereo draws what is actually visible from where you are, so a city sky shows a realistic handful rather than thousands of stars you could never see. Set a darker sky and more appear.

Does it work without a signal?

Yes. Every position — Sun, Moon, planets, stars, satellites — is computed on the phone. Only weather, aurora conditions, news and Wikipedia summaries need a connection, and every object also ships with an offline description.

The whole app turns red

That is red-light mode, and it is intentional. Red light preserves your dark adaptation outdoors. It covers the entire app rather than one screen, because a single bright screen would undo it. Turn it off in Settings.

Restoring a subscription

Open Settings inside the app and choose Restore Purchases. Subscriptions are tied to your Apple Account, so they carry across your devices. Billing, cancellation and refunds are all handled by Apple.

Reporting something wrong with the astronomy

This is the most useful bug report there is. Send the object, the date and time, your approximate location, and what Sidereo showed versus what you expected. Positions are computed deterministically, so a genuine discrepancy is reproducible and fixable.
